Courtenay Casting, position # 2 , 50mm pewter, Heraldry of Sir Miles Stapleton, 2 moveable arms.

Again I Have no idea who painted the following nicely copied miniature Knight, however it's a good addition to a diorama display of 50mm knights.. Paint is like new with a protective felt on underside of base. These were not intended to deceive collectors as the blue painted bases and felt bottoms clearly would alert any Courtenay Fan to their origin.(SEE PHOTO BELOW comparing to a REAL COURTENAY #18 Billman.)

Copy of Courtenay's Position #2 pose. Purchased a group of these at the LLoyd Ralstoy Dec. 2002 Auction. Very good paint and excellent condition with battle ax 7 2 movable arms.(Last photo shows the copy next to an original Courtenay from my collection!

See page 26 -28 in Peter's "Heraldic Miniature Knights" book for more information & photo! Also check out the book
"A Collection of Courtenay" by John Gillatt pages 54-55 for more photos of the # 2 series by Courtenay.

Courtenay Casting, position # H 6B , 50mm pewter, Heraldry of Oliver de Clisson.  Horse is Courtenay position H 8

Another possible casting painted by an unknown artist. Painted nicely with a rear Courtenay H6B miniature Mounted Knight. Paint is matt in very condition with a protective felt on underside of base. These were not intended to deceive collectors as the blue painted bases and felt bottoms, along with the matt paint, clearly would alert any Courtenay Fan to their origin.

See page 76 -79 in Peter's "Heraldic Miniature Knights" book for more information & photo! Also check out the book
"A Collection of Courtenay" by John Gillatt page 36 -37 for more photos of the #H6B by Courtenay.

Courtenay Casting, position # 18 Modified , 50mm pewter, French Crossbowman .

Have no idea who painted the following nicely copied miniature French Crossbowman however it's a good addition to a diorama display of 50mm knights..

Very Rare miniature of one of Courtenay's early #18 poses. Purchased a group of these at the LLoyd Ralstoy Dec. 2002 Auction.  Very good paint and excellent condition of a hard to find #18 miniature. One of Eight in my collection!

Courtenay & Doran , 48 mm pewter, Knights in Battle (pair)

This is an original hollow cast figure that was in bad need of painting. Jacques Cuypers did a nice job of copying the Courtenay painting of an eagle that is on another Courtenay Doran in my collection. This pair of figures has been separated at some point in it's life, however the 2 sections fit together perfectly. The sword is damaged on one knight but retains it's Lyon crest. The second knight is undamaged with ax & shield intact.

These miniatures are about 90 years old, very hard to find and are the beginning of Richard Courtenay's Legacy, refer to pages 4 - 9 in Peter's "Heraldic Miniature Knights" book for more information & photos!

$200.00 for the pair, insured priority shipping included in the USA.

This is an original hollow cast figure that has Very Good paint for miniature produced prior to 1928.

Again a hard to find mounted original from a boxed set, "Knights of England" that is over 89 years old! The pose is the model for Courtenay's later Mounted H2 miniature.

See pages 4 - 9 in Peter's "Heraldic Miniature Knights" book for more information & photos! (Note the photo with a second "Knights of England" in my collection for comparison!)
