Jacques Cuypers, Tiffany Miniatures 1993, Position # 7-MA Frightened soldier lighting small bombarde.

(Very unique & rare 2 piece scene, from Jacques Cuypers personal studio collection) One of the last pieces of the Men-at-Arms series, Jacques mold for the bombarde was damaged so only a handful of these pieces exist. The cannon with cannon balls rests on a separate base and the barrel moves up & down. The man-at-arms is on a separate base with the matchlight. see page 22 in my book “Heraldic Knights & Miniatures of Jacques Cuypers” for more information.
